Helping to end disputes between:
Friends - we all need friends, right? Mediation can help to solve issues and keep
friendships alive.
Neighbors - having good neighbors is important, too. Finding fair solutions through
mediation can make our communities better.
Acquaintances - we have business and personal interactions with others every day.
With mediation, conflicts can be resolved and business partnerships can be improved.
Gathering insights to bridge the gap considering:
Diversity - why do some differences bother us?
Nationality - how do origins shape world-views?
Race - how does perception affect interaction?
Ethnicity - what defines a person’s individuality?
Culture - what can we learn from each other?

Bridging the Gap
Conflict and disputes are part of life. We have them in families, with friends, with
neighbors, and in the workplace.
In diverse, multi-national, racial, ethnic, or cultural contexts, these conflicts
can be especially hard to manage. Often the parties are not consciously aware of
the way that subtle nuances affect the manner in which they deal with each other.
Subtle biases may limit their communications with each other, and can hinder the
progress of a successful outcome.
Through the process of mediation, misunderstandings can be cleared up in a beneficial
way for all parties involved.
